The Oceanside Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee (BikeWalk Oceanside) is an advisory committee to the City of Oceanside to promote biking and walking among our residents. The Committee was created in 2001 and formally recognized by the City in 2007. Originally called the Oceanside Bike Advisory committee, the committee adopted its current name in 2010 to address pedestrian issues in addition to promoting cycling for transportation and recreation. Join us to make your community more bike/ped friendly. Oceanside was designated as a Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Committee in 2009 and 2011. In 2017 we reached the Sliver Level. In order to move to a Gold designation we need more enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. Come help us reach Gold!

Regional Alliance
BikeWalk Oceanside is one of eight community advisory organizations in San Diego County. Each organization belongs to San Diego County Bicycle Coalition Alliance. The Alliance’s goal is to assist the development of community advocacy organizations that promote biking and walking.
